Fresh-Keeping Pouch

Many Demetra products are packaged in sachets, a technological choice which allows users to enjoy exclusive benefits.

From a technical point of view, this is a combination of aluminium and nickel-free polypropylene for food use, an extremely resistant and reliable material which preserves the product in a way that cannot be achieved with other packaging methods.

The choice of a product in a sachet gives the user undeniable advantages:

  • Reduction of heat stress from pasteurisation and sterilisation, because the heat penetrates more rapidly than with traditional packaging.
  • Less stress means products stay fresher, crisper and with brighter colours, maintaining their original characteristics almost intact.
  • Higher yield due to the increased drained weight, obtained by using less liquid within the pack.
  • No vinegar and/or other unpleasant acidifiers, making the product ideal for use either hot or cold.
  • Reduced logistics costs, due to lower weight compared to traditional packaging.
  • Reduced storage space and less waste.

Furthermore, the convenient reclosable pack facilitates storage of the product after opening, in full accordance with health and safety recommendations.
