Sesame tuna cuts with red pesto and caponata

Ingredients for 4 portions
  1. 600g fresh tuna
  2. 400g "Caponata"
  3. 100g Red Pesto
  4. 30g Black Sesame, Whole
  5. 30g Sesame Seeds, Shelled
  6. q.s. Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  7. q.s. Sea Salt Flakes
  8. q.s. Black Pepper, Ground
Method

  • In a pan, mix the two types of sesame, coat the tuna in sesame and cook it in a pan with oil for 2 minutes on each side.

  • Separately heat the caponata and when it is hot place it on a plate.

  • Once tuna is ready, cut it and place it on the plate decorating with the slightly warm red pesto.
